Booster Club Notes: March Meeting

Facility improvement report:

Dr Bell from central office will visit with maintenance on 03/02 at 2:30 pm to discuss fixing drainage problems over spring break.

 Dr Bell will get a price quote for crack and surface repairs to do now or over the summer.

 We need some work done over spring break to prepare for season as well as some just prior to the district tournament that we are hosting.

 This past month 5 White Dogwoods were added to the stadium side thanks partially to the school beautification committee and $150 from our Boosters.

 Last fall we planted Crepe Myrtles along the school side after installing the pavers and redoing the picnic tables.

 Future improvements include a boys and girls clubhouse adjacent to the equipment and concession clubhouse, a gazebo over the sidewalk player entrance, a shade canopy over the center court area with bleachers under to seat about 90.

Drink machine adjacent to the rest rooms has generated money into our school tennis account.[approx. $250]

 Our cell phone recycling has generated $62.50 to the school tennis account.

 Our fall tournament helped offset player fees by $80 per child.
